How the process works at Tattoo Bar Brno
Quick overview

Four rules worth knowing

The most important points before booking and visiting. You will find the details in the sections below.

72 h

Cancellation or rescheduling

If you cancel less than 72 hours before the appointment, the deposit is forfeited. Any timely request to reschedule must be confirmed by the studio.

01

Booking and deposit

An appointment is confirmed only after written confirmation from the studio and fulfilment of the agreed deposit conditions.

02

Arrive on time

The session will not be extended if you arrive late, and this may affect the scope or feasibility of the work.

03

No health data online

Do not send health data in a message. The required declaration is signed in person at the studio.

Booking and deposit

How an appointment is confirmed

A booking protects both the client's and the tattoo artist's time. It therefore follows clear steps and conditions confirmed in advance.

A substantial change to the design, scope or placement may require a fresh assessment of the price, the time required and which tattoo artist is suitable.

01

Send the basics of your project

The design or theme, body placement, approximate size and references. For a cover-up or touch-up, add a clear photograph.

02

The studio confirms the approach

We will recommend a suitable tattoo artist and clarify the scope, indicative price, available appointment and booking conditions.

03

The deposit reserves capacity

The amount, due date and payment method are determined according to the project and tattoo artist. There is no universal amount that applies to everyone.

04

You receive written confirmation of the appointment

Treat an appointment as confirmed only once the studio has expressly approved it together with the other conditions.

Cancellation, rescheduling and late arrival

The 72-hour rule

Tell the studio about a change as soon as possible. A message alone does not mean that rescheduling has been confirmed automatically.

< 72 h

The deposit is forfeited

This applies if you cancel less than 72 hours before the appointment or fail to attend without notice.

01

Rescheduling 72 hours or more in advance

The studio will confirm the new appointment and how the deposit will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Transfer of the deposit is not automatic.

02

Late rescheduling does not reset the deadline

Rescheduling agreed within the 72-hour window does not create a new free cancellation period for the original booking.

03

Late arrival

Contact us immediately. The session is not extended. The studio may adjust the scope, offer another appointment or decline the work if safety or quality would be compromised.

04

A change by the studio

The studio will offer a new appointment and confirm the next steps and handling of the deposit in writing.

Vouchers and corrections

Two services, two different sets of rules

A gift voucher has a monetary value, while any correction is assessed only after the tattoo has fully healed.

Gift voucher

Validity and use of the voucher

A voucher can be ordered in electronic or printed form, in amounts from CZK 500.

  • It is valid for one year from the date of issue.
  • The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Transfer to another person requires prior notice and confirmation from the studio.
  • Any unused value can be used for another booking arranged before the voucher expires.
Corrections and touch-ups

Assessment only after complete healing

A fresh tattoo changes while it heals. We therefore assess the need for a correction only once the skin has settled and fully healed.

  • First send a photograph taken in daylight and a description of how the healing progressed.
  • The studio will determine whether this is a minor correction, a touch-up, a rework or new work.
  • A design change, new elements or work on a tattoo from another studio counts as a new paid service.
  • Statutory rights arising from defective performance remain unaffected.
Aftercare and responsibility

The result begins in the studio and continues at home

We provide professional preparation and clear instructions. It is then your responsibility to follow them during healing.

Studio

What Tattoo Bar provides

  • A prepared work area and established hygiene procedures.
  • An assessment of whether the work can be carried out safely and to the required quality.
  • Clear aftercare instructions.
  • The option to postpone the appointment or decline the work if a safe procedure cannot be ensured.
Client

What we need from you

  • Arrive at the confirmed time and follow the tattoo artist's preparation instructions.
  • Provide the required information truthfully in the declaration signed at the studio.
  • Follow the aftercare instructions and avoid interfering with the skin while it heals.
  • Contact the studio if anything seems unusual during healing; contact a doctor if you have acute problems.
01

Keep the tattoo clean in accordance with the tattoo artist's instructions.

02

Do not soak it, go swimming or use a sauna while it heals.

03

Protect it from the sun and do not scratch the scabs.

04

Bear in mind that the skin, healing and aftercare affect the final appearance.

For anyone under 18, the arrangements must be confirmed with the studio in advance and all requirements for consent from a legal representative must be met.

Practical answers

Frequently asked questions about the rules

Short answers about the situations we deal with most often before and after an appointment.

What happens if I cancel less than 72 hours in advance?

If you cancel less than 72 hours before the appointment, the deposit is forfeited. The same rule applies if you fail to attend without notice.

Can I reschedule if I contact you in time?

Ask to reschedule at least 72 hours in advance. The studio will then confirm in writing the new appointment and how the deposit will be handled; transfer is not automatic.

What if I arrive late?

Contact us immediately. The session is not extended automatically. If the work can no longer be carried out safely and to the required quality, the studio may adjust the scope, reschedule the appointment or treat the visit as not having taken place.

How does the deposit work?

The studio determines the amount, due date and payment method according to the project and tattoo artist. The booking becomes binding only after the studio confirms the appointment and that the agreed conditions have been met.

How long is a gift voucher valid?

A gift voucher is valid for one year. It cannot be exchanged for cash. Transfer to another person is possible only after prior notice and confirmation from the studio.

Is every correction automatically free?

No. We assess the need for a correction only after complete healing, based on a photograph and how the tattoo was cared for during healing. A design change, new elements, work on a tattoo from another studio or a larger rework counts as new paid work. The client's statutory rights remain unaffected.

What if the studio reschedules the appointment?

The studio will offer a new appointment and confirm the next steps and handling of the deposit in writing. You do not need to provide proof of the original booking again.

Should I send health data in a message?

No. Do not send health data in a message or online form. The required declaration is signed in person at the studio.

Do you tattoo people under 18?

Whether this is possible must be confirmed with the studio in advance. The procedure depends on the particular situation, the applicable rules and the required consent of a legal representative.
