Igor works with saturated black, strong linework and restrained colour. He creates sleeves and other larger compositions, as well as medium-sized and smaller high-contrast designs.

Igor makes sure that shape, line and solid areas work as one. In blackwork, both the impact of the design and an even fill are equally important to him.

The main line holds the shape
The foundation of the design is drawn with a broad, clear line. Thinner lines are used as accents.

Detail only where it helps
Where the design allows, Igor simplifies shapes and removes details that would needlessly break up the whole.

A limited colour palette
For colour designs, Igor usually chooses a calmer palette with one or two stronger shades.

Tablet and freehand
Individual elements can be prepared digitally. For large projects, Igor draws the layout directly onto the body.
Who Igor's style
is for.
Igor works best when a client has a clear sense of direction and sends several references. You do not need a finished drawing. Simply describe what appeals to you and leave room for Igor's own approach.
A high-contrast black design
A medium-sized or smaller tattoo with strong linework, black areas and a clear silhouette.
Traditional: colour or black
Old-school or neo-traditional. For colour designs, Igor chooses a limited palette and one or two stronger shades.
Cover-up or blackout
Covering or significantly transforming an older tattoo, always after assessing the existing work.
Bold linework
Heavier linework, simpler forms, sharper abstraction or bolder lettering.
Ornamental work by arrangement
For modern tribal, Polynesian and Celtic or Scandinavian designs, Igor first assesses whether the brief fits his approach.
What Igor does not do
Igor does not work in realism, microrealism, fine line, watercolour or graphic styles with a large amount of fine detail. For such a project, the studio will recommend another artist from the team.

Before tattooing, Igor worked in graphic design and digital art. He was also interested in street photography and video editing. He gradually brought that experience in drawing, graphic art and photography into tattooing.
Igor has been tattooing since 2018. He started with smaller designs and gradually moved on to more demanding compositions and larger areas. Today, he most enjoys working on sleeves, blackwork and Japanese or traditional designs.

Is Igor a good choice for a first tattoo?
Yes, if Igor's bold linework and way of working suit you. During the consultation, he will discuss the placement, size and your idea with you. During the session, he will adapt to whether you want to talk or prefer quiet.
Do I need a finished design?
No. Send a description of the design, its placement on your body, an approximate size and several references. Igor prepares the design as part of the work. Depending on the project, he will use a tablet, refine the design with you at the studio or draw it freehand directly onto the body.
Which projects does Igor most enjoy?
Igor is most interested in sleeves and larger projects in blackwork, traditional or Japanese styles. He also creates medium-sized and smaller high-contrast designs, bold linework, cover-ups and blackouts.
Does Igor do cover-ups and blackouts?
Yes. Igor will suggest a specific solution only after assessing the original tattoo, placement and scale. Send the studio a current photograph, approximate size and a short description of the change you expect.

How is the tattoo design created?
Every design is created a little differently. Igor likes to refine it with the client at the studio. He may prepare some elements on a tablet and draw large compositions freehand directly onto the body.
How do I get a price estimate?
The studio will provide a price after assessing the design, placement and approximate size. A small increase in the size of the design does not necessarily mean a higher price. You will receive the price range and booking terms before the appointment is confirmed.
What happens after I send my idea?
The studio will pass the information on for assessment. If the project fits Igor's focus, the studio will contact you with the proposed next steps. A consultation on its own does not confirm an appointment or booking.
